Suntree is a planned unincorporated community in Brevard
County, Florida, United States.[1] It is located near the
center of the county, off I-95 near Viera between Interstate
95 and the Florida East Coast Railroad. It lies approximately
halfway between Rockledge and Melbourne. The population was
20,194 at the 2000 census.
Suntree is part of the Palm Bay–Melbourne–Titusville
Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 20,194 people. The racial
makeup was 93.2% White, 3.1% African American, 2.8% Asian,
and 1.0% from two or more races.
The gender split was almost even, with 49% being male, and
51% female.
The median income for a household was $61,601.
History / Tropical Storm Fay
On the night of 20 August, 2008, Tropical Storm Fay's eye
briefly crossed parts of Suntree. As of August 20th Fay dropped
over 20 inches of rainfall in Suntree, flooding its streets.
